Discover a son’s true beauty and how he impacted others, and also how this young man succumbed to the powers of addiction, losing his life to an unexpected drug overdose. The story does not end there; experience how heaven invaded a situation that could have left everyone hopeless. It was here that the love and grace of God began to shine through with a penetrating light. As in his two other books, Into Solitary Places—One Father’s Journey of Faith Through His Son’s Struggle with Psychotic Mental Illness and True Mind—How Truth Can Change What You Believe and How You Live, Tom Steward has written another revealing account of how life’s struggles do not have to defeat us or define us. We see once again how there is a way to transcend any human experience and emerge as victors. See how our affliction is eclipsed by glory, the eternal weight of glory that is far beyond comprehension. Tom’s ability to capture human experience, from the painful to the glorious, draws the reader into the many and varied experiences of life. He is not bashful to assert that God is always involved, no matter the circumstance, and that there is always a redemptive conclusion, although it may be difficult to see. This book will arouse the power of hope in you as you gain the courage to carry on, regardless of life’s challenges.
We as the church are being looked at by the lost world as a bunch of hypocrites. We need to seriously consider this viewpoint in how we are evangelizing the lost. Currently there are 3,500 people leaving the church from all denominations daily. This is definitely not the Lord’s plan for the Body of Christ. Another statistic showed that from the years 2000 to 2008, 20 million people left the North American church from all denominations.
Matthew 11: 28 (NAS) reads, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” When the Lord Jesus Christ uses the term all, He is referring to every single person on Earth. When the church uses the term all, they are referring to only those who belong to their denomination. This should not be.
I truly believe that the Lord Jesus wants to redefine who He wants to be in each and every one of our lives, if we let Him. The question is, do we want Him to, or are we comfortable with where we are operating as different denominational churches?
What the world is experiencing currently is testimony that business as usual has ended for the entire church world.

Happy trails to you until we meet again Having lived in the heart of the Kettle Moraine forest most of my adult life I have enjoyed riding my horse on the beautiful trails. I have sought to find answers for the disappointment and heartbreak I experienced through out so many years. If you are reading this book, you are holding in your hands the story of my life. I don’t have any worldly accomplishments in front or behind my name but what I do have is the experience of wanting to be a great daughter, wife and mother. Wanting this and having this become a reality was two different things. The years spent both as a young girl and a young woman with many emotions to deal with caused me to have a very low self esteem. It was the brokenness that brought me to my knees on that cold January day.

When Time Stops is a God-inspired, true story of an amazing journey chronicled by K. A. Russell, whose faith in God and family enabled her to persevere through her mother’s untimely death. Ann and her three brothers grew up working together alongside their parents on a tobacco farm in Burlington, North Carolina. Their life was not always easy, but their faithfulness to each other and a loving God made those hard days worthwhile. She learned early in life how a family who trusted God and believed His Word would prosper in both life and death. Through her faith and strong family bond, she learned difficult life lessons. The hardest lessons were learned during the eight years that she nursed her mother through leukemia. Written directly from Ann’s Heart, these life lessons are illustrated at the end of each chapter.
