Consider this verse from Philippians and how it applies to your journey of gaining health. Committing to health makes a lot more sense that committing to weight loss. Health is excellent and praiseworthy!

Symptoms are sometimes confused with the problem. The weight is the symptom while the problem is being unhealthy. Let’s focus on a solution that addresses the problem and builds health into your life. A healthy body naturally maintains a great weight and supports an active life. This is the basis of the Sabai CORE. Over the next several days, you will learn the Sabai CORE that will help you create this health in your life.

When we focus on health, our choices change. Health is about eating fresh veggies and fruits, quality proteins and whole grains, exercising regularly, spending time outside, and spending time with family and friends in great activities. Health means bringing our body back into God’s original design. God created us all with strength, resilience, and possibility. A life based on God’s design is a life filled with opportunity and excitement.

By pursuing God’s best for our life and body, we naturally change parts of our life that do not fit into that design. What are some things that do not fit into God’s original design?

  • Excess body weight
  • Unhealthy foods
  • Lack of movement
  • Embracing an identity as damaged or less than others

Let’s start focusing on gaining health! Gaining health reflect God’s design is our goal and focus. Start making choices that support health and vibrancy in your life! In the process of gaining health, your body’s weight will come back into balance and your life will begin reflecting God’s design. Gain health!

William Haynes is a wellness coach with NuLifeRx in Greenville, South Carolina and works with clients to gain health and enjoy the life God has given. William was trained by Anthony Robbins in life coaching and worked with Robbins Research International in San Diego, California. William and his family served as missionaries in Thailand for four years, serving with Youth with a Mission and representing Simpsonville First Baptist Church. He has a degree in education from St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurenburg, North Carolina, and personally lost over one hundred pounds by developing and applying the principles captured in this book, Health with a Mission. He enjoys triathlons and recently completed a half Ironman event which included a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, and 13.1 mile run in under seven and a half hours.
