Most women will be able to relate to Faith, the main character in this story. She had only dreamt about the life she was now living. She thought she had a handle on it, planning for her wedding and carrying out the work that God had clearly given her to do. But the meeting with her employers changed everything. They placed even more demands on her than she all ready had. How could she possibly find the time to do it all?

Faith now had to make an impossible choice between the love of her life and her God-given career. Was this the Lord’s way of telling her that he had closed the door on this chapter of her career and had opened another? She has to search deep into her soul to find the answers. Her world is coming apart. She cries out, “Lord, is there a workable solution?”

Pastor Michael had many sleepless nights of his own, wrestling with his past. When he confesses his past to the congregation, will they accept or reject him? And how will the new woman in his life react when she hears what his life was like five years ago?

Find the answers in this heartwarming story of unconditional love.

Faith Carrington was on a steam train headed to Virginia in the spring of 1952. She was contemplating the choices she had made and found herself unhappy and sinking into depression. She wanted to change the direction of her life, but didn’t know how…until that train ride…where she met two men that would change her life forever. As a success on Broadway, she knew what fame could do to a person’s soul. Wanting desperately to have the rich, rewarding relationships she always dreamt about, she was traveling home to attempt to find the peace and family connection that she needed. Then God intervened and brought her on a journey beyond anything she could have ever imagined. Come along with Faith as she is given life changing experiences through God’s grace. Her new path leads her to unexpected turns in her career and a greater understanding of true family commitment.

Mary Ognan lives in Roxbury, Connecticut with her husband Bob. They have five children, ten grandchildren, and three greatgrandchildren. Mary has lived in Connecticut for the past fifty years. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Brooklyn High School for Homemaking. She worked for corporate offices in New York City for many years, and for various companies in Connecticut; she is now retired. Her hobbies include setting up Lionel train layouts, cooking, and collecting antique kitchenware and antique dolls.

Her love of country and steam trains can be traced back to her childhood in Brooklyn. As soon as school was out for the summer, her family headed for Grand Central Station to catch the steam train ride to Albany, New York. There she spent the summer months with family on their small farm. It was natural for Mary to incorporate the wonderful childhood memories she has of steam trains into her first novel.

Yeshua is Mary’s first novel and it includes the true story of how mightily the Lord worked in her life. She included a detailed description of what happened to her and how her son received a complete healing from God in chapter fourteen.
