As Unified High Priest, Khalid al-Kabul and his UNIFY church gain worldwide acclaim and draw millions to their ranks, Christians fear the emergence of a one-world religion.

Krista Coblentz teams with Detective Darnell Simpson, a backslidden Christian, after police discover Krista’s best friend savagely murdered and dismembered. Krista’s relationship with Simpson disintegrates after she accepts an invitation to one of Khalid’s demonic services promoting his perfect one-world church.

Meanwhile, in Tennessee, retired Pentecostal minister Walter Caldwell hears from God that it’s time to take the message of repentance to the streets, and God wants Caldwell to lead the effort.

Could UNIFY truly be the apostasy and the emergence of a one-world religion foretold in the Bible Christians believe it is—merely a counterfeit forged by Satan himself that shall lead even the elect astray? Or could it be the perfect church the Bible predicts, rising up out of the darkness, delivering a new world peace by fusing Christians and Muslims together as one?

Ms. Leahz masterfully weaves this end-times thriller with excitement, murder, intrigue, romance and mystery. This fast-paced prophetic classic will leave you breathless and eagerly awaiting the second book in Ms. Leahz’s trilogy.

Endorsements:

  • “What most Christians forget is that the main purpose of God’s plan for us is to fight and expose evil. Lyn Leahz in her fiction Soul Deceiver writes an amazing tale and embeds the necessary biblical truth to help us see the quagmire of delusion, deception and apostasy that engulf the church today. The gripping story sifts out the words of a sweet-talking devil that wants to unify Christianity with Islam attempting to seduce us with flattery. The story tells how the prudent spirit-filled Christian can stand firm against the works of darkness. “And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do [exploits].” (Dan 11:32)  –Walid Shoebat, International Speaker and Best Selling Author of God’s War on Terror: Islam, Prophecy and the Bible.  Shoebat Foundation

If you are a lover of end times eschatology, then Soul Deceiver is a must read.”  –Tim R. Philley, Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer, Oral Roberts University

Traffic was especially heavy on their way to Krista’s house and she wondered if they would ever get there. Maybe it just seemed that way because she felt nervous anxiety and curiosity at the same time, like a defendant waiting for the final verdict.

Questions crept into her mind. Would she have been killed if it weren’t for Simpson? What if she had trusted Duncan’s judgment? Was the place that had been her sanctuary of comfort and routine nothing more than a rape victim suffering the aftermath—brutally defiled and left alone distrustful and uncertain?

“Simpson, will this ever end, or will I have to live in fear and hiding for the rest of my miserable life?”

She gazed at him from the passenger seat while he drove. He clenched his jaw, as he did when he was thinking. She assumed it must’ve been a nervous habit.

He gave a quick glance her way and then back to the road. “If you want an honest answer—I don’t know. If you want me to comfort you somehow, well, I’m sure we’ll get things resolved soon…very soon.”

Like a child, she couldn’t wait just a few more minutes. She had to know now! “Honest enough. We’re almost to my house. Do you have any gut feelings about last night, and whether anyone got back in?”

He pulled into her driveway. “We’ll find out soon enough.”

When they walked to the front door, Krista noticed the security system was dead. Confused, she glanced at Simpson, “First clue revealed! Tampering with a home security system. Do you ever feel like Scooby Doo?” She threw her arms up in frustration. Were her fears and worries coming true? She had desperately hoped everything would be normal and untouched.

Simpson gently moved her aside as he drew his gun. “I have to go in first. Why don’t you get back in the car and lock the doors? If I’m not out in five minutes, dial 911. Got it?” he sternly ordered.

“Now don’t ask me to do that, Simpson! Remember our agreement was we go in together?” she reminded him.

“I don’t have time to argue about it, Krista. Someone is playing a dangerous game…a very dangerous game. I am under oath to protect people, and if I give in to what you want, I’ll be breaking my oath—and I’ve already broken enough rules lately. Understood?

“Actually, scratch what I said. Get into the car and park it on the street away from here.” His demeanor changed from calm and in control to his primal instincts stage when survival mixes with fear, determination, and heroism.

Firmly, he asked, “Did you hear me? Do it now, I said!” he ordered.

Like Rocky, she cowered away, stopping briefly to glance over her shoulder resentful and mortally wounded. She didn’t understand why she had to park on the street. If it was an explosion he feared, shouldn’t he be calling the department instead of risking his life by opening the door? As soon as she parked the car, she got out and stood on the sidewalk in front of her house.

Both hands gripping his gun, he kicked the door open with one hard thrust, but Krista wasn't able to see what happened next.

From a rebellious teen runaway to near-death experiences with eating disorders, Lyn Leahz suffered a difficult life. Having been raised in a Christian home, it was her faith in Christ that helped her overcome these struggles, enabling her today to speak to people’s hearts. As a result, she understands how precious, and how short, life really is.

Her desire is to invoke repentance through her writing and to bring those who do not know Jesus Christ as their Savior to the cross.

We are spiritual beings on a physical journey in this adventure called life. This journey is filled with choices- how to make a living, to marry, having children, and on and on. To large extent our lives are defined by the choices we make. But sometimes our whole being is defined by a choice we make, such as whether we will serve God or evil. Soul Deceiver is the story of several people in this crucible of choice when there is an attempt to create a new "Perfect" religeon combining Christianity and Islam. Deception is most effective when we are an accomplice to the deceiver, feeding the deception with our hopes and dreams. Sometimes the price of deception is very high, as in your life, or even your mortal soul.

Leahz draws her characters carefully, drawing me in to the point that I could imagine them being real people that I began to care about. The evil Khalid is grotesque in his evil, yet paradoxically appealing physically and even charismatic personally. It must be very difficult to resist him. And that is the real crux of the story, how evil disguises itself so easily that even folks with good intentions find themselves deceived.

Leahz paints a portrait where many are deceived, and the way to discern is by donning the armor of being well read Biblically, strong in your daily walk with our Lod and not being one with the "Crowd" mentality.

I found myself having completed this book within 36 hours of receiving it, it was a compelling read. I look forward to the next part of the trilogy. In my soul I feel we are near the end times and this story is as relevant as the headlines which grow more alarming daily. Entertaining, spiritually illuminating, and Biblically strong this is a top notch thriller that manages to educate and entertain at the same time.

Well....I bought the book and put it on my shelf to get to later. I am a busy homeschooling mom of four and, well where do the days go. Found some time so decided to read a bit. Yeah right, could not put it down after that. I like how she developed the characters, drew me into the plot and I really could relate to the struggles they face in their walk with the Lord. At least to me, they were portrayed more realistically, just every day people who find themselves in the struggle between good and evil. I know this just came out but you have me hooked Leah, when is the next one due? : )

Soul Deceiver is a tastefully written work showing us all the truth in ancient Biblical prophecies that are being fulfilled today, interwoven with mystery & intrigue. Although it is classified as a 'fictional work', we need to remember that it is fiction which is based upon scripture of what is to come in the very near future. I think it will make readers spititually hungry for more! In that context, all who read this book can hardly wait for the release of the following two novels!
Jerri Hardin
Lyn Leahz gets us alarmingly aware of end times events with her book Soul Deceiver. In this novel, she takes the darkness and deception which have filled this earth and weaves a strong warning within the story of the evil to come. In the end, the reader will come to a greater understanding of how incredibly close we are to a one world religion. Very compelling reading!
