HeartBeats, a collection of 101 life-learned reflections, will bring you peace, clear perspective, and a revitalized hope you always wanted but never thought you could experience.
As I sensed the impossible situations my friends were facing, I was driven to share the unlimited possibilities of a loving, merciful God, and hence, HeartBeats was born.
Listen as Gale speaks in her soft yet confident voice:
• “Some days you can think you are down for the count and then you realize that He keeps counting.”
• “Never speak ‘never' over your life; in doing so, your ‘never' robs you of your future.”
• “We must learn to trust Him when we feel like we cannot trace Him.”
• “When His love takes you in, everything changes.”
• “God says yes to your fulfillment, yes to your joy, and yes to who you are in Him.”,
His Word Will Never Return Void
Today is another day in our lives, and regardless what kind of day it is, it is ours and we must choose to live it to the fullest. Life is a gift and also a choice. Scripture teaches that death and life are in the power of our tongues, so we must choose life. I speak words of life, health, and peace over you today, and I pray you will cherish every moment of your days, for we are here for such a time as this. Speak His words.
Speak His intentions. Speak words of encouragement one to another. Speak His ways. Speak His outcomes, His possibilities, and His plans. Speak who He is and who He says you are. Speak goodness, hope, life, love, grace, and peace. Speak words of faith. Speak great expectations. Speak to the mountains in your way. Call those things that are not as though they are. Always speak His outcomes and they shall be unto you as you have spoken and believed. Life and death are in the power of your tongue. Therefore allow Him to speak life through you. Allow Him to direct your thoughts, your words, and your actions. Ask and you shall receive, for it is His great desire to do good things through you.
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11 KJV)
“You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways.” (Job 22:28 NASB)
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'” (Matthew 4:4 NIV)
Am I Being Kind Enough?
Every day I am amazed at what He does and who He uses to be an extension of Himself. Life's journey brings us across the path of many, and as we reach out to others, it is wise to be conscious of how we would want to be treated and remembered. I often catch myself as I react with others thinking, Is this how I want to be treated. Then I become very attentive as I say to myself, Is this how I want God to treat me? That is a sobering thought and constant guide as we relate to others. “Do to others as you would have them do to you” (Luke 6:31 NIV).
Are we listening? Are we rushing? Are we really concerned? I sat with a young man today who thanked me for speaking into his life years ago. When I got home, I realized that some things he had said to me were speaking into my life. It was pleasant to know that God kept His Word in that I was able to reap some kindness I had sown many years ago. I pray we will always be ready to be Christ to someone, always ready to love someone, always ready to lift one another in the hope of God, and always ready to encourage one another in the grace of God, to become more like Him.
Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. (Romans 12:10 NIV)
